Detailed analysis of the development trends in the mold industry.

Molds are an important component of the equipment manufacturing industry, with high industrial relevance, serving as one of the key guarantees for industrial upgrading and technological advancement. Molds have a wide range of applications and come in various types, with many classification methods. Based on the characteristics of the mold forming and processing process, they can be mainly divided into stamping, plastic, casting, and forging.

Molds are an important part of the equipment manufacturing industry, with high industrial relevance, and are one of the important guarantees for industrial upgrading and technological progress. Molds are widely used, diverse in types, and there are many classification methods. Based on the characteristics of the mold forming and processing process, they can be mainly divided into stamping, plastic, casting, forging, etc.

1. Mechanism conversion accelerates, structure gradually becomes reasonable.

In order to adapt to the situation, China's mold industry has accelerated the pace of system reform and mechanism conversion in recent years. 'Three capital' and private enterprises have become dominant in the industry, significantly improving equipment and product levels as well as management.

2. Economies of scale and cluster development.

With the continuous development of 'small but specialized' specialization, economies of scale have received increasing attention in recent years. In addition to strengthening enterprises and achieving efficient economies of scale, mold cluster production is also continuously demonstrating its advantages; thus various forms of cluster production such as 'mold cities', 'mold parks', and 'mold production bases' are emerging.

3. Emphasis on brand patents and strengthening innovation research and development.

Many enterprises have begun to recognize the importance of 'brands' and 'patents', with increasing investment capacity and ability for independent innovation. For a long time, molds have been in a 'rear' and 'passive' position; therefore there has been almost no 'brand' or 'patent'.

With the development of the market economy in recent years, enterprises are increasingly valuing 'brands' and 'patents'. Some companies already have innovative R&D plans; recognizing the importance of molds is leading to rapid increases in investment capacity.

4. High technology is popular; there is a shortage of mold talent.

The technical content of molds is continuously improving, with more molds classified as high-tech products. With the development of high-tech industries, more mold manufacturing companies are being recognized by relevant government departments at all levels as high-tech enterprises. Preliminary statistics show that there are currently over 100 national-level high-tech enterprises as well as provincial and municipal-level high-tech enterprises in the mold industry.

5. Trade deficit increases; export prospects look good.

China's mold industry has entered a fast track for development; however, due to significant gaps in precision, lifespan, manufacturing cycles, and capabilities compared to international standards and industrially developed countries, it cannot meet China's manufacturing development needs.

In recent years, it has been a period when foreign capital has entered our country in large amounts. With the continuous expansion and deepening of opening-up policies, foreign investment in China's mold industry has also increased significantly year by year. The growing dependence on foreign capital poses significant risks to industry safety as well as national economic security.
